Overview
The NXP i.MX8MQ EVK is a development platform for the i.MX8M Quad family of processors, focused on audio, video, and general embedded applications.

Prebuilt Image: Currently we do not distribute public binary images for this development kit. Follow the instructions below to build a reference image from source.
Building the Image
Follow the Quick Start Guide to set up the build environment.
To build the image:
cd lightspeed
kas build kas-cfgs/imx8mq-evk.yaml
Flashing the Image
Flash the image to an SD card using dd or a similar tool:
dd if=build/tmp/deploy/images/imx8mq-evk/core-image-base-imx8mq-evk.wic of=/dev/sdX bs=4M status=progress conv=fsync
Serial Console
Connect to the serial port at 115200 baud rate.
Login credentials are provided in the Quick Start Guide.
Graphical Console
Connect an HDMI display to use the graphical console.
Login using the credentials in the Quick Start Guide.
